What Our Borrowers Say

Corey did such a great job getting this deal done. The numbers came back better than I expected for our mortgage and I’m grateful for the knowledge Corey shared. He also recommended a local realtor who also did a great job. While buying a house can be stressful because of all the options and the speed things go once an offer is accepted, it felt like we were in control and kept things progressing. We will totally work with Corey whenever we outgrow our current home.

– Kyle D.

Working with Corey was truly exceptional. He is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the lending process smooth from start to finish. As a realtor, having a lender you can trust is everything, and I can confidently say I’d refer Corey to any of my clients without hesitation. I honestly couldn’t imagine using anyone else. Not only does he know his craft inside and out, but he’s also just a great guy who shows up, communicates, and delivers every single time. If you want a lender who makes the entire experience seamless and stress‑free, Corey is the one.

The Colorado Housing Market Right Now

Colorado’s housing market has become more balanced heading into 2026 than it has been in years. Inventory is up, price reductions are more common, and the frantic pace of 2021 and 2022 has cooled significantly. Buyers who have been sitting on the sidelines now have more time, more choices, and more room to negotiate than at any point this decade.

It depends on the loan type. FHA loans allow a minimum score of 580 with 3.5% down. Conventional loans typically require 620 or higher. CHFA programs also require a minimum of 620. If you are not sure where your credit stands, a conversation with your loan officer will tell you exactly where you are and what needs to happen before you apply.
It depends on the loan. FHA requires as little as 3.5%. Conventional can start at 3% for qualified buyers. VA and USDA loans require zero down for eligible borrowers. With Colorado’s median home price around $575,000 on the Front Range, a 3.5% FHA down payment runs about $20,100. Colorado’s down payment assistance programs can cover a significant portion of that depending on which you qualify for.
